THE GOLD CANS LAB

Welcome to the Gold CANS Lab. We are part of the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center(MPRC). The MPRC is a University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) Organized Research Center, which resides in UMSOM Department of Psychiatry.  

The goal of our lab is to better understand the cognitive, affective and perceptual abnormalities in schizophrenia. In particular, we are interested in examining the relationship between brain function and cognitive behavior, social and goal-directed behavior, as well as mechanisms underlying psychotic symptoms.
